SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern (VOC) have spread throughout the world. In Mexico, VOC B.1.351 has been detected on one occasion and B.1.1.7 several times. We detected lineages B.1.351 and B.1.1.7 in patients who traveled to USA and B.1.1.7 in a patient with no travel history.
